This Privacy Policy describes how Book Me In (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile apps and website (the “Service”).

1. Who we are

Book Me In helps customers book appointments with service providers and helps providers manage services, availability, and bookings. Contact: support@bookmein.club (or the support address listed in the App Store listing).

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Service, we may process:

• Account data — email address, display name, password (stored by our auth provider), optional phone if you enable SMS features.
• Profile & business data — role (customer or service provider), service names, prices, availability, timezone.
• Booking data — service, date/time, duration, status, names and emails related to a booking.
• Communications — transactional emails about bookings and account events; optional schedule digests if you enable them; support messages you send us.
• Technical data — device/app identifiers, basic diagnostics, and logs needed to operate Firebase Authentication, Firestore, and Cloud Functions.

3. How we use information

• Create and secure accounts; verify email when required.
• Provide booking, calendar, and notification features.
• Send transactional email (requests, confirmations, cancellations, digests you opt into).
• Prevent abuse, enforce rules, and improve reliability and security.
• Respond to support requests and legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Sharing

We share data only as needed to run the Service:

• Between booking parties — e.g. a provider sees the customer name/email for a booking; a customer sees provider/service details.
• Service providers we use — hosting and backend (e.g. Google Firebase), email delivery (e.g. Amazon SES / Resend), and Apple/Google for app distribution. They process data under their terms to provide infrastructure.
• Legal — if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

5. Retention

We keep account and booking data while your account is active and as needed for the Service, legal claims, or compliance. You may delete your account in the app (Account → Delete Account) or request deletion of your account and associated data (no login required). Related bookings may be cancelled or anonymized as described in-product.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures (including HTTPS and managed authentication). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Your choices

• Update name/email in Account settings.
• Turn off optional reminder/digest emails in Account where offered.
• Sign out or delete your account in the app (Account → Delete Account).
• Request deletion of your account and/or associated data (email, no login required).

9. International processing

Data may be processed in the United States or other countries where our infrastructure providers operate. By using the Service you understand this transfer may occur.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
